More Than Enough

As I have thought about what to share today, it has been hard to decide. So much is going on in the world, our country and in our families. I decided since I can't change the world, I would speak to family and friends. This week through phone calls, face book post, and e-mails from family, friends and church there is so much going on. Jobs needed and families in trouble. Health, oh my. A nephew recovering from an infected dog bite, his wife learning of an aunts death and the same day being told a cousin is in stage 4 cancer. A cousin awaiting a lung transplant and another facing surgery next month for cancer. I learned a cousin passed away earlier this month. Jonah, our grand son, his other grand father is facing surgery next week. Our pastor is awaiting a lung transplant. So many concerns, grief and heartaches, they seem to overflow and the blessings of God cannot be seen. But they are there, if we will just take a moment to look. I am reminded that our God is More Than Enough to cover all our needs.  My prayer for each of you, is that you seek the God that is sufficient for all your needs.

                                                          More Than Enough

Is there any way to have to much of God? Never! He is all we need. He is the calm in the storms of life that we all go through, our guard in the daily wars we fight. When we are weakest, he is our strength. Only God can bring us peace in times of sorrow. When we can no longer walk, he carries us. He is reason in times of confusion. He is more than enough for all our needs.
He is our healer in times of sickness.
He wipes away the tears of a broken and heavy heart.
He is our courage and strength to face each day.
He loves us, though hated by many.
He is our encourager when we are down.
He knows our every sin, yet forgives when we ask.
He gently corrects with love, when we do wrong.
He gives us peace and joy for our sorrows and pain.
On the day he dyed on the cross, he thought of each one of us and freely gave his life, that we might be free. He took on my sin and yours and made them his own, so that he could pay the debt, that we could never pay. Can we have to much of God? No! When we allow him to have all of us, we become a reflection of him.
